Production: Produced by Era Films; British International Film, Distributors. Directed by Sinclair Hill. From a story by Stacy Aumonier.

Cast: Stewart Rome, Frances Doble, Hugh Eden, Kate Cutler, Jack Clayton, Jill Clayton, Una O'Connor, Sydney Morgan, and others. TARTAR BALLET, 'JEALOUSY': Music: By Modest Moussorgsky (selections from Khovanshchina, 1872-80 [unfinished]). Cast: Tartar, George Balanchine; His Wife, Lydia Lopokova; Minstrel, Anton Dolin.

Note: One of the first feature-length talking motion pictures made in England. During the filming, Balanchine, Dolin, and Lopokova learned of Diaghilev's death in Venice. The only known copy of the film is an incomplete one in the British Film Institute, which contains the full ballet.
