Music: By Igor Stravinsky (from Apollo Musagetes, 1927-28).

Choreography: By George Balanchine.

Production: Costume by Bouchène.

Premiere: June 29, 1932, Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, Paris. Conductor: Roger Désormière. (Earlier in the summer performed in Brussels, for which no program has been found.)

Cast: Alice Nikitina.

Note: In a shell washed up on the sand, a young fisherman listens to the sound of the sea and dances.
